Oct 15, 2018 | Ashley Wood Farm, September 2018
This September I was so delighted to be back at my favourite wedding venue – Ashley Wood Farm in Salisbury. There’s something just so beautiful about the sandstone barn and duck egg blue doors; I’d shoot here every week if I could! So I was over the moon when Laura & Will booked me for their wedding which took place this late summer.
Laura & Will got married at their local church before exiting to a sea of confetti and jumping into their navy blue vintage car. As they only live a stones throw away from Ashley Wood Farm and regularly walk their dog near by, they knew of some gorgeous little hidden beauty spots around the grounds, so although I’ve been lucky enough to shoot many a wedding there over the years, they introduced me to some lovely new places! They ended the night with a fantastic ceilidh dance which always has wedding guests in stitches, and what a better way to work off that wedding dinner?!
Such a wonderful day, thank you so much for choosing me to capture it! Congratulations to you both.

Ahh I’m not sure there are any wedding venues quite as beautiful as Ashley Wood Farm in Salisbury. It’s my number 1, favourite wedding venue to photograph in the world, and absolutely where I’d get married now if I were to do it all again (I’d pick the same husband though…most days) 😉
So when Alyx & Dan booked me for their July wedding, I was over the moon to discover it would be at Ashley Wood Farm. On what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year…ANY year, we fanned out way through the most incredible party. The festivities were sky rocketed by England winning the footie (Alyx & Dan were kind enough to play the match on a projector for their guests) and it was great fun photographing guest trying and failing at the bucking bronco!
Such a great day, I laughed HARD. Thank you for having Holly and I along to share it with you, we absolutely loved it.

Venues I regularly shoot at can sometimes feel a little bit like my babies, so I know you’re not supposed to have favourites…but I kinda do a little bit with Ashley Wood Farm! This venue is O so flippin’ gorgeous, with it’s duck egg blue barn doors and sand coloured walls, plus I LOVE the fact you can opt to get married outside in the garden if you choose to. Not only that but it has the loveliest little cottage on site to get ready in in the morning and to stay in the night of the wedding… so I may even be so daring to say it’s pretty much PERFECT.
So when Emily & Jim asked me to be the photographer for their September wedding at Ashley Wood Farm, you can imagine I was delighted! Everything about their wedding was absolutely-knock your socks off-gorgeous, and the barn was styled impeccably. All the tables were given brightly coloured flowers in cute jars, with gold and hessian touches and multi-coloured ribbons hanging from the ceiling. They even had botanical information cards up-cycled as bunting, O my!
After a week of threatened rain, we were lucky and Emily and Jim were able to wed outside in the garden exactly as they had wanted to. Afterwards, they were met with a shower of confetti instead of rain, before guests mingled, chatted and enjoyed the canapes.
Before the meal we wondered around the grounds capturing their couple shots, before the evening party kicked off with an awesome Ceilidh band which got almost everyone up on their feet.
I LOVED this wedding, thank you so much for having Dan and I along; some of these photos are his <3
