Venues I regularly shoot at can sometimes feel a little bit like my babies, so I know you’re not supposed to have favourites…but I kinda do a little bit with Ashley Wood Farm! This venue is O so flippin’ gorgeous, with it’s duck egg blue barn doors and sand coloured walls, plus I LOVE the fact you can opt to get married outside in the garden if you choose to. Not only that but it has the loveliest little cottage on site to get ready in in the morning and to stay in the night of the wedding… so I may even be so daring to say it’s pretty much PERFECT.
So when Emily & Jim asked me to be the photographer for their September wedding at Ashley Wood Farm, you can imagine I was delighted! Everything about their wedding was absolutely-knock your socks off-gorgeous, and the barn was styled impeccably. All the tables were given brightly coloured flowers in cute jars, with gold and hessian touches and multi-coloured ribbons hanging from the ceiling. They even had botanical information cards up-cycled as bunting, O my!
After a week of threatened rain, we were lucky and Emily and Jim were able to wed outside in the garden exactly as they had wanted to. Afterwards, they were met with a shower of confetti instead of rain, before guests mingled, chatted and enjoyed the canapes.
Before the meal we wondered around the grounds capturing their couple shots, before the evening party kicked off with an awesome Ceilidh band which got almost everyone up on their feet.
I LOVED this wedding, thank you so much for having Dan and I along; some of these photos are his <3

Sam & Phil had the most beautiful wedding at Old Thorns Hotel in Liphook, Hampshire on a beautifully bright and clear September day. Old Thorns a is a gorgeous hotel and golf course which holds several different options and places to get married, making it easy to personalise your wedding to your own tastes and styles. Sam & Phil chose to get married in a very pretty room full of widows and natural light which opens out onto a patio – perfect for their drinks reception and photos.
Before their dinner we got to ride off on golf buggies across the golf course (ducking a dodging between the games!) to take in a capture the fantastic views and scenery. Everything about their day was so pretty and colourful – thank you so much for having Clare and I along! We had a blast.
Thank you to Clare as always for second shooting this one, some of these photos are hers.

Veronika & Nicholas had the most beautiful and elegant wedding! It’s not often I get to photograph somewhere new these days so I was very excited when they told me that their wedding venue would be the Indian restaurant Banyan in Fernhurst – that’s certainly a first for me! The Banyan restaurant is in the most beautiful stone building; hidden in the countryside and next to a lovely old pub called The Kings Arms. The pub holds very special memories for Veronika and Nicholas because it is in fact where they met! So what better a place to celebrate their marriage.
Veronika & Nicholas tied the knot inside a gorgeous little old church just down the road in Fernhurst called St Margret’s before everyone made their way to The Kings Arms for drinks and delicious canapes of Indian nibbles. Everyone enjoyed the sunshine in the pretty gardens surrounded by stunning views of the countryside and friendly horses in the neighboring fields. Because the weather was so warm, they were able to hold their speeches outside in the gardens, before everyone went inside the Banyan restaurant for dinner and then later for dancing.
Dan and I had such a lovely day with you all, thank you so much for having us along! <3

I LOVE a quirky venue to show off a couples’ uniqueness and personality, so I absolutely adore to shoot at Sopley Mill in Christchurch. This old, glorious mill has been beautifully renovated to hold weddings with a huge lawn out the front and multiple rooms to hold the different elements of the day.
Rachel & Chris’ wedding began with Rachel and her girls getting ready in the dressing room at the mill, whilst guests excitedly arrived and mingled downstairs. I’m always in such a privileged position as the bride walks down the aisle as I get to see the groom’s face first…and Chris’ face showed nothing but happiness and love as his gorgeous lady arrived. Ooh the tears! After the vows we all made our way down to the lawns to enjoy the sunshine and canapes whilst we wandered around the grounds taking photos.
The breakfast room was gorgeously and tastefully decorated with soft pink flowers with touches of gold and fairy lights which complimented the bridesmaids dresses perfectly. After dinner and some very heartfelt speeches we snuck off again for a few more couple shots behind the back of Sopley Mill as the light was softening, before making our way back to the party.
You guys are SO lovely, thank you so much for choosing me. Thank you to Leoni too who assisted me for this one, a few of these photos were taken by her.

O how I love The Old Vicarage in Christchurch – it’s the most beautiful, homely and versatile wedding venue with a wonderful outside space for a wedding ceremony right amongst the flowers. I love that with this venue, if you do find yourself with a rainy day, the inside is just as gorgeous and light and airy, so – unlike some wedding venues – it’s really not the end of the world if it rains and you have to be inside. Luckily we didn’t have to worry about that with Natalie & Adam’s wedding this September as we were blessed with glorious sunshine all day!
I was delighted when Natalie & Adam asked me to capture their special day; I knew straight away they would be such a lovely couple to photograph, plus they have a gorgeous little baba George, who always gives me the best smiles 🙂 George arrived in absolute style in an awesome cart which was rolled down the aisle – personalised number plate to boot! What a dude.
Natalie & Adam’s wedding was beautifully colourful, with splashes of rainbow inspired flowers all over the place, which complimented the bridesmaids floral and bird dresses perfectly. Everything about this day was just so fun and joyful, we loved every minute and laughed along with the happy couple all day.
Thank you for having Leoni and I along, we had a blast.
