Hope Farm Wedding in Dorset – Sarah & Alex

Hope Farm in DorsetThis wedding was AMAZING!! It’s rare I get to shoot at a new venue these days because so many of my referrals come from venues themselves, so I was very excited when Sarah & Alex booked me to photograph their wedding at Hope Farm in Dorset. I won’t mention the weather (you can probably see why…) but it didn’t matter AT ALL anyway because this wedding was a total blast!

The styling was gorgeous – golds and wild green foliage – with a fabulous floral arch under which they said their vows. The day was all about fantastic food, dancing, O and a Jager Bomb train, O yes!

A total feast for the eyes from start to finish, thank you so much for having me along!

I would absolutely love to shoot more weddings at Hope Farm in Dorset so if you’d like to chat to me about photographing yours, please get in touch here.

Bartley Lodge Wedding – Danni & Joe

Bartley LodgeBartley Lodge is a gorgeous boutique hotel, nestled in among the trees in the beautiful The New Forest. It’s small enough to feel intimate but big enough to feel grand and exclusive, with huge flowery gardens and enormously tall trees peering over it. Can you tell I love it here?! So yes, I was delighted when Danni & Joe asked me to photograph their wedding at the wonderful Bartley Lodge.

Thank you so much for having Emma and I along, we had such a lovely afternoon with you all! And thank you for introducing me to the wonder that is Macaroons, I’ve been dreaming about those ever since! Congratulations again, lovelies xx

Wedding at Ashley Wood Farm – Laura & Will

Ashley Wood FarmThis September I was so delighted to be back at my favourite wedding venue – Ashley Wood Farm in Salisbury. There’s something just so beautiful about the sandstone barn and duck egg blue doors; I’d shoot here every week if I could! So I was over the moon when Laura & Will booked me for their wedding which took place this late summer.

Laura & Will got married at their local church before exiting to a sea of confetti and jumping into their navy blue vintage car. As they only live a stones throw away from Ashley Wood Farm and regularly walk their dog near by, they knew of some gorgeous little hidden beauty spots around the grounds, so although I’ve been lucky enough to shoot many a wedding there over the years, they introduced me to some lovely new places! They ended the night with a fantastic ceilidh dance which always has wedding guests in stitches, and what a better way to work off that wedding dinner?!

Such a wonderful day, thank you so much for choosing me to capture it! Congratulations to you both.

Garden Marquee Sunflower Wedding – Gemma & Dave

Garden marquee weddingOf all the types of weddings I’m lucky enough to get to shoot, I have to say that garden marquee weddings come my absolute top. I think it’s the fact that you can do WHATEVER you like, WHENEVER you like, and aren’t in anyway restricted by a venue with their own rules and regs (as long as you have understanding neighbours, of course!) makes for a truly unique and relaxed wedding.

Gemma & Dave’s marquee reception in Gemma’s family home garden, has to be one of the best weddings I’ve ever been to, I just flippin’ LOVED this day. From the gorgeous styling with about a thousand jars of wild flowers, to the delicious paella to the abundance of sunflowers which they grew specially, and the fact that live music played for the majority of the day, made this wedding seriously awesome.

Thank you so much for having me along, I had sooooo much fun! Thank you too to Dan who shot along side me, some of these photos are his.

St Giles House – Nilay & Andy

St Giles HouseIt’s so wonderful when I get to explore and shoot at a venue I’ve never been to before; it certainly gets the creative juices flowing and St Giles House is one that I will definitely be hoping to go back to! I adore the decor that runs throughout the stately house with the exposed brick mixed in with the antique paintings; it’s like a fabulous mix of the old and new. The gardens are huge and expanding, with 360 views all around and without doubt, the most beautiful bridal prep room I’ve ever seen.

Nilay & Andy’s day was beautiful – the house, the styling, the gardens…just a wonderful day of gorgeousness. The weather was perfect so guests got to enjoy the grounds and to sip champagne in the sunshine before going in for a wonderful 3 course meal. We even got a golden hour sunset which we were sure to take full advantage of.

Thank you for having Dan and I along, we loved every minute. Congratulations you lovely twosome!

Thanks to Dan too, some of these photos are his.
