Penny & Sebastian’s wedding at Beaulieu Hotel in the heart of the New Forest was an absolute beauty and a pleasure to photograph. Friends and family had traveled from all over the globe to celebrate with them, so the wedding was full to the brim with love and people who were so, so happy to be together. The wedding decor reminded us that spring is definitely here with touches of pinks and greens in the bouquets and the garden was in full floral bloom. Guests made the most of the sunshine by enjoying drinks and canapes in the pretty garden whilst we popped out across the road for their couples shots.
We were lucky enough to get the most beautiful light in the evening; and grabbed the golden hour with both hands to make the most of it with their photos.
What a wonderful day, thank you both so much for having me along, I loved every minute.

I’m so happy I got to start my wedding season off with such a bang for Heather & Joe’s glorious wedding at Clock Barn in Hampshire! Spring was definitely in the air on Saturday; the sun was shining and the flowers were definitely in bloom. Yellow tulips decorated the church which looked beautiful alongside the bridesmaids’ teal dresses, who also had sunny yellow ribbons in their bouquets.
This wedding was just all about bringing the fun – from playing a recording of Joe’s choir singing during the signing of the registrar, to having the lovely Michael King magician entertaining the guests during dinner, to having little nods to their love of Disney throughout their decor and song choice; This wedding was alllll about the fun. They even did their own choreographed dance in the evening, before Joe jumped on the keys and played along with the band. What a day! Totally jam packed with awesomeness and totally filled with love.
Thank you both so, so much for having Holly and I along, you’re both two of the loveliest people I’ve ever had the absolute pleasure to meet <3 Below are your teasers!

Ahh my beloved Clock Barn! I’m so lucky that I get to shoot here so often – in fact I’m beginning to feel like I live here at the mo! They may as well allocate me a table to sleep under and fill me up with their mind blowing scotch eggs. So I was super happy as always when Laura & Mark booked me for their beautiful spring wedding.
One of the things I love the most about Clock Barn is that the gardens and surroundings change so quickly with the seasons and the weather, so Laura & Mark were blessed with a fabulous white flower tree in full bloom right outside the barn (I don’t pretend to know what type it is!) and hot pink flowers all up the edges. At other points in the year we’ll have a cornfield or in the autumn the trees will go a gorgeous hot red. I think this is why this place is so special and exciting to shoot at.
Laura & Mark chose soft, pretty pink flowers for their decor, with touches of gold and copper for a bit of sparkle. I love the burnt copper ribbons on the bouquets which looked awesome next to the mint green of the bridesmaids dresses.
An absolutely beautiful day with an even more beautiful couple – thank you for making Holly and I feel so welcome (some of these photos are hers).

Spring is my absolute favourite time of year so what better way to kick off the wedding season than Nicola & Steve’s glorious wedding at The Tithe Barn, Hampshire. The rustic barn is a beautiful back drop to any wedding as it starts as a bit of a blank canvas for you to cram all those fabulous wedding ideas – just like Nicola and Steve did! Outside in the grounds the flowers were definitely in bloom and we spent the day in the spring light surrounded by happy daffodils.
Nicola wore the most delicate vintage inspired gown with a lace overlay, really very lovely! The soft pastel colours of the bridesmaids and flower girl were followed through into the groomsmens outfits, such a lovely reminded that spring was in the air.
The barn looked wonderful, the lights and the paper lanterns gave a graceful ambiance and the flowers at the aisle ends left a lovely scent hanging in the air. What a lovely place to say your vows.
After the ceremony Nicola and Steve’s family and friends got to tuck in to a delicious English tea style dinner of sandwiches, tea and cakes. All the little vintage mis-matched cups and saucers looked fabulous! So romantic and so quaint! Nicola and Steve graced the dance floor for their fabulous first dance before the rest of the guests joined in to dance the night away in the setting of the most beautiful barn.
Thanks guys a brilliant way to start the season and a fabulous day all round! xx
Here are a few of my favourite photos from their lovely day – thank you to Clare who second shot for me, some of these are hers.
