Autumn Clock Barn Wedding – Katie & Freya

Autumn Clock Barn Wedding – Katie & Freya

Ahhhh what a joy it was to photograph these absolute babes yesterday at their autumn Clock Barn wedding! As soon as I met Katie & Freya for their engagement shoot back in the summer I knew we’d have so much fun together and that their wedding would be ridiculous amounts of amazing… and boy was I right!

Katie & Freya come with the most wonderful bunch of friends and family – right from when we arrived Emma and I were made to feel incredibly welcome and like part of the family. Both brides had 4 bridesmaids each and a best man (a symmetry I most enjoyed during the group photos!) and all got ready at either Clock Barn or Norton Park just down the road. Both ladies were proudly walked down the aisle by their Fathers as everyone watched on in the big main barn, before walking outside to a sea of confetti. Although it rained off an on all day (bit of a theme lately), the girls braved the weather and we went out for couples photos regardless – in fact they were so elated I think they barely noticed the rain.

The venue was alive with flowers by the super talented ladies at The Blooming Workshop and the food by Galloping Gourmet was excellent as usual. Yesterday was a wonderful day in every way – wonderful people, wonderful venue and of course, the most wonderful brides <3

Thank you SO much for having Emma & I along, we had the most gorgeous day. Here are a few photos to keep you going before the full set is completed. Lots of love to you both!

Barn Wedding in Hampshire – Rachael & Stephanie

Clock barn wedding

Barn wedding in Hampshire.

O gosh my heart could burst for these two gorgeous beings who married at Clock Barn this weekend! Rachael & Steph – two incredibly kind and brilliant women, tied the knot in this fabulous Hampshire barn in front of their nearest and dearest. Their nearest and dearest AND an incredible flower wall by the lovely Lynz at The White Horse Flower co I might add!

The barn was laid out with a double aisle either side of the chairs to Rachael & Steph could both experience the special moment of their Dad’s walking them down the aisle, before both meeting each other in front the registrars. The barn was alive with flowers, Lynz did the most fantastic job as always and I can’t even describe how wonderful the whole venue smelled as a result. After the ceremony, Rach & Steph were welcomed outside by their guests to a sword and hockey arch before walking through a sea of confetti.

The weather was perfect so guests were able to enjoy canapes and games on the lawns whilst we wandered around the grounds taking couples shots. The sun gods smiled on us in the evening too with a beautiful golden sunset, so of course we took full advantage.

Rach & Steph; your wedding was a wonderful as you both are, thank you so, so much for having Emma and I along, we loved every minute.

Emery Down Village Hall Wedding – James & Chris

Emery Down Village Hall Wedding – James & Chris

Emery Down Village Hall

I can’t even begin to tell you what a joy and privilege photographing James & Chris’ fabulous New Forest wedding at Emery Down Village Hall was! Well I could, but I’d literally be here all night. I LOVE these boys; they’re just so bloomin’ lovely. I knew they would be right from our first planning meeting when they invited me round for Tapas and wine. How could a girl resist?!

Chris & James got married at Salisbury registry office in front of their very best and closest family and friends before we all went into the pretty gardens round the back for some family photos and couple shots. On our way to Emery Down Village Hall, guests popped off to the pub whilst we made a fleeting stop in the New Forest opposite The Drift Inn for some New Foresty couple shots and to make the most of the gorgeous scenery.

Once back at Emery Down Village Hall, guests welcomed James & Chris into the garden under a shower of confetti before everyone went inside for a yummy picnic of meats, cheese and breads. Hilarious speeches were said in the great outdoors giving the lovely team of helpers time to turn the room around ready for the evening party where my favourite DJ Simon played a mix of non cheesy dance floor fillers. These guys also had the best sweety table I’ve ever seen – all garden themed to mark their love of their own garden. My son Ted would have lost his mind!

Thank you both SO much for pulling off the most fabulous day, I’m so happy I could share it with you and even happier I now get to call you both friends. Congratulations guys!
