Parley Manor Wedding – Anita & Ed

Parley Manor Wedding – Anita & Ed

Parley ManorAhh the beautiful Parley Manor in Christchurch! I haven’t shot at this venue for years, so I was over the moon when Anita & Ed asked me to capture their special day at this O so pretty garden marquee venue.

Anita began her day by getting ready at Burley Manor in The New Forest, with her girlies and her parents. One of Anita’s bridesmaids was my lovely friend Hayley from Hayley Savage photography…so no pressure then! 😉

After saying their vows under the marquee in the beautiful garden, guests were serenaded by the most awesome band whilst they drank and mingled. We disappeared off for a while to take their couple shots amongst the flowers which were just bursting with colour, and even found a cornfield out the back. And you know how I love a cornfield!

Anita had thought of everything – even a glitter bar to give her guests an extra bit of sparkle for the evening party! Such a gorgeous day, thank you so much for letting me be a tiny part of it. Thank you too to Leoni who assisted me, some of these photos are hers.

Pitt Hall Barn Wedding – Ella & Eliot

Pitt Hall Barn Wedding – Ella & Eliot

Pitt Hall BarnAs George Orwell (kind of) said…”All weddings are fun, but some weddings are more fun than others…” And Ella & Eliot’s wedding at Pitt Hall Barn in Basingstoke was FUN!! Pretty much all I heard around me from the moment I arrived until I left was the sounds of laughter from their guests, having a whale of a time, and Ella & Eliot who were both clearly having the best day of their lives.

I had not been to Pitt Hall Barn before, so it’s always really exciting for me to explore new places and to find inspiration from the things I see around me. I love the fact that this venue has a starry night sky in the main wedding breakfast room, it really gives the venue and magical feel.

After the ceremony we escaped off into the surrounding woods in the farm’s Land Rover to capture their couple shots, and were rather delighted to discover a cornfield! (O I do love a cornfield).

During the start of the meal, Ella & Eliot surprised their guests by telling them that one person from each table had an envelope under their chairs, informing them that they were the designated beef cutter for their table, and equipping them with a chef’s apron and hat! I loved this idea!

Such a brilliant day, thank you both for being so fun to work with! A big thank you to Leoni too who assisted me, a few of these photos are hers.

Wedding at Clock Barn – Abi & Chris

Wedding at Clock Barn – Abi & Chris

Clock Barn wedding photography

The beautiful Clock Barn in Hampshire was the scene for Abi and Chris’ wedding and it was so, so lovely! Not even a few drops of summer rain could stop everyone from enjoying the day. This wedding made me very happy – I absolutely adore barn weddings; especially ones with a cornfield right outside!

It is always so nice when friends and families gather together to celebrate these momentous occasions. Abi got ready with her bridesmaids at her mum’s house and they borrowed a good friend’s Hummer for wedding transport – when you’ve got a big bridal party, you need a big car!

I think we need to talk a bit about the dresses. Ladies, you all looked spectacular. Abi looked absolutely stunning in her lace gown, and the bridesmaids dusky lilac gowns with lace detailing were so elegant and fabulous too. All this tied in so well with the beautiful flowers arranged by Sarah Styles Florist, the colours were so bright and summery.

The kids at this wedding played their part too and they were just adorable; a really happy and cheeky bunch. As usual I snuck off with the bride and groom for a walk among the beautiful grounds and cornfields while Abi and Chris’ guests enjoyed some canapés and drinks.

Back at the Clock Barn for the reception guests were treated to speeches, a delicious meal and a sweet cart by local company Bonappasweet! The soft lighting and rustic detailing gave such a romantic feel to the barn. The lovely natural looking cake from Meadow Cottage Bakery was a real centerpiece standing proudly on a gorgeous wood slice, a quirky idea, just like the racehorse table plan which I’ve not seen anything like before! Everyone was enjoying the music and dancing as we left, and kids on the dance floor always steal the show!

Thanks for letting me join in on your special day guys, just wonderful xx

Here are a few of my favourite photos from their lovely day – thank you to Claire West who second shot for me, some of these are hers.
