Dec 17, 2018 | Clock Barn, Winter wedding
There is something so incredibly cosy about Clock Barn in the winter – perhaps it’s the twinkly lights or the fireplace in the top barn, or the fact that the barn is so warm and homely. Whatever the reason, Clock Barn makes for the most perfect winter wedding venue.
Wendy & Richard celebrated their wedding in absolute style this November, with soft pale roses and thistles, and deep navy blue splashes of colour. We were blessed with a bright and dry day so everyone enjoyed the gardens during canapes and drinks; exactly the kind of weather you wish for for a winter wedding. Their guests were thoroughly entertained by Michael; one of my favourite magicians, plus I loved the way they showed their friends and family how much they meant to them by gifting everyone a photo of their memories together.
Such a gorgeous day, thank you so much for having Holly and I along to share it with you. Thank you to Holly for shooting alongside me, some of these photos are hers.

ahh what a BEAUTIFUL winter wedding Carleh & Vinnie had in Salisbury this December! I’m always delighted when someone books me to shoot at a venue I’ve not visited before, so when Carleh & Vinnie told me about The Medieval Hall and an old converted church called St John’s Place, you could say I was rather excited. Both venues are seeped in history and personality, and absolutely perfect for a cosy, winter wedding with twinkly fairy lights and candles.
The Medieval Hall is right next to Salisbury Cathedral, so after the ceremony we popped outside to wander round the grounds taking some couple photos. All the guests headed off to St John’s Place where they waited for us to arrive with confetti ready and poised, before everyone tucked in to a hearty meal of pie and mash – best wedding food ever!
What a gorgeous winter wedding, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your fabulous day. Thank you too to Clare who second shot for me, some of these photos are hers.

Georgie & Ben’s fabulous foodie themed wedding at The Long Barn in Hampshire was just the most wonderful way for me to finish an incredible wedding season! Everything about their wedding was simply scrumptious; they even based their colour scheme on their favourite tipples – burgundy, cream and brown…for red wine, champagne and whiskey. These guys literally laughed allll day, everything was just so joyous. Thank you so much for having me along, it was such a pleasure!!
I was lucky enough to work with my favourite wedding planner – Marie from Isabella weddings who over saw the day and made sure everything ran to plan and the brilliant hair and make-up artist Miriam King. A huge thank you too to the lovely Michael O’Sullivan who shot along side me, some of these photos are his (The best ones, he’d probably say) 😉 It was also a pleasure to work for the first time with Toast Master David Hunt and Devoted Films videographers.
