Ahhhh what a joy it was to photograph these absolute babes yesterday at their autumn Clock Barn wedding! As soon as I met Katie & Freya for their engagement shoot back in the summer I knew we’d have so much fun together and that their wedding would be ridiculous amounts of amazing… and boy was I right!
Katie & Freya come with the most wonderful bunch of friends and family – right from when we arrived Emma and I were made to feel incredibly welcome and like part of the family. Both brides had 4 bridesmaids each and a best man (a symmetry I most enjoyed during the group photos!) and all got ready at either Clock Barn or Norton Park just down the road. Both ladies were proudly walked down the aisle by their Fathers as everyone watched on in the big main barn, before walking outside to a sea of confetti. Although it rained off an on all day (bit of a theme lately), the girls braved the weather and we went out for couples photos regardless – in fact they were so elated I think they barely noticed the rain.
The venue was alive with flowers by the super talented ladies at The Blooming Workshop and the food by Galloping Gourmet was excellent as usual. Yesterday was a wonderful day in every way – wonderful people, wonderful venue and of course, the most wonderful brides <3
Thank you SO much for having Emma & I along, we had the most gorgeous day. Here are a few photos to keep you going before the full set is completed. Lots of love to you both!

Saturday’s wonderful winter wedding at The Domus in Beaulieu will go down in my personal history as the windiest wedding yet! Despite the crazy weather we had, Poppy and Ryan had the most beautiful day; saying their vows in front of their loved ones at St John’s Church in Boldre and then onto the glorious Domus in Beaulieu. Bell & Blossom created beautiful bouquets for poppy and her bridesmaids in classic white and thistles, to compliment Ryan’s Scottish heritage and of course, the kilts!
Even when the weather is being tricky I almost always seem to get lucky with the photos to have a small window of dry/calm wind, so we took full advantage when the gale dropped a little and took some photos outside. The best way to deal with strong wind during couples shots is just to go with it, laugh and have fun, and that’s exactly what they did.
The Domus is lovely for winter weddings because it’s so cosy inside with it’s huge, real fireplace and abundance of candles. Poppy & Ryan both have the warmest, loveliest families so I was made to feel right at home. Thank you for being so bloomin’ wonderful, I’ve absolutely loved being part of your day.

Saturday saw me back at my favourite wedding venue for Emily & Ben’s autumn barn wedding, and O my was it a treat! Clock Barn in Hampshire is a particularly wonderful wedding venue for autumn and winter weddings (or essentially weddings with less than ideal weather) because it’s as beautiful inside as it is outside. Some venues worry me a little when the weather is forecast to rain, but not Clock Barn. The top barn is ideal for photographing small family groups in front of, and the hanger barn just down the road makes for some really cool bridal party photos as the light is just scrummy down there.
Clock Barn looked particularly incredible on Saturday as Emily & Ben booked Owen from Little Lillies as their florist, who created a show stopping autumnal arch for them to get married in front. As usual he created something utterly astonishing, mixing textures and burnt orange roses…have a look, it’s all so beautiful!
Saturday was wonderful; nothing makes us photographers more happy than lovely couples who embrace the weather and just decide to go for it regardless. Emily & Ben – it’s been an absolute pleasure meeting and working with you both, thank you for treating Sharron and I like old friends, we loved every minute. Here’s a few photos to keep you going until they’re finished!

There’s something incredibly warm and cosy about a barn wedding in Autumn – perhaps it’s the candles or the fireplace, or the beautiful colours in the trees. Either way, Andy and Suzy pulled off the most beautiful Autumnal wedding at Clock Barn on Friday. The venue was styled wonderfully – with real horseshoes, apples and pine cones mixed among flowers with were warm reds, maroons and peaches. The bridesmaid’s dresses were perfect – grey and silver and sparkling. This wedding was absolutely gorgeous!
Although it rained for large portions of the day we were incredibly fortunate that it only seemed to rain when we wanted to be indoors anyway, and breaks came in the perfect place for photos.
I loved Friday, thank you both so much for having me along! So much love to you both, here’s a few photos to keep you going xx

O what a wonderful wedding Rhea & Anthony had at The Old Mill in Reading Saturday! The Old Mill is a cute, pub-like venue with a light and airy conservatory attached to a big party room. It then has a wedding ceremony room in a separate building outside; ideal for Rhea & Anthony’s intimate wedding for close friends and family.
Although it poured with rain all day, the rain gods smiled upon us just when we needed them to and were able to grab a handful of couples shots outside in the fading November light. Rhea has decorated the party room so beautifully with gorgeous little touches everywhere, including an epic sweetie table to everyone’s delight.
An absolutely fabulous day and an even more fabulous party, thank you both so much for having me along to capture it all. Here’s a few photos to keep you going until I’ve edited the rest. Congratulations lovelies!
