O my – I don’t even know where to begin with how brilliant 2017 was for me; so many wonderful clients, many whom I’m lucky enough to now call friends. So many beautiful venues, many of which I’m lucky enough to now be recommended at, and barely any rain! Hallelujah!
Thank you so much to Clare who shot along side me most of the year, I’ll miss you more than you’ll know. Dan & Leoni too, thank you for making this year so much fun to go to work.
Thank you to my photography Sync girls, who make every day better and like chatting at the water cooler a virtual reality.
But mainly thank you to my clients, who have trusted me with one of the best days’ of their lives, I’ll never stop being humbled by this.

I absolutely adore Clock Barn in Hampshire, but never before have I had the chance to shoot a wedding there in the Autumn to take advantage of all the fabulous colours which I know are there at this time of year, so when Amelia & Trafford booked me to photograph their October wedding there I was delighted. These guys had the most beautiful day – not only are they just the cutest couple ever but they had a Beauty & The Beast theme with their decor – check out their wonderful table centres!
We were lucky to have the most beautiful bright and dry autumn day so guests could enjoy canapes and drinks in the garden whilst the tree of us wandered around the Clock Barn grounds to take their couple shots and then family group photos in the paddock. Dinner was catered by the incredible Galloping Gourmet who always cook up an absolute feast before some very heartfelt speeches and one hellova party 🙂

Sam & Phil had the most beautiful wedding at Old Thorns Hotel in Liphook, Hampshire on a beautifully bright and clear September day. Old Thorns a is a gorgeous hotel and golf course which holds several different options and places to get married, making it easy to personalise your wedding to your own tastes and styles. Sam & Phil chose to get married in a very pretty room full of widows and natural light which opens out onto a patio – perfect for their drinks reception and photos.
Before their dinner we got to ride off on golf buggies across the golf course (ducking a dodging between the games!) to take in a capture the fantastic views and scenery. Everything about their day was so pretty and colourful – thank you so much for having Clare and I along! We had a blast.

Today’s wedding was an absolute delight. Cara and Chris wowed on their big day at the gorgeous St Michael’s Church in Sandhurst followed by a reception at Riverdale Barn in Hampshire.
How gorgeous is Cara’s dress? The beautiful lace detailing and soft pleats were fabulous for the countryside wedding. The bridesmaids had delicate beading and blush pinks and all the ladies looked just gorgeous. I love the pictures of the bridesmaids helping Cara into her dress in the garden – such wonderful memories to be made, even when simply getting dressed!
A beautiful vintage car came and whisked Cara and her mum away to St Michael’s Church; a Church so beautiful inside with a lovely arched altar and gilded artwork that it almost looked like a mini cathedral!
Arriving at Rivervale Barn the family and friends were treated to some wonderful personal touches, with some little bottles of ‘love potion’ as favours, beautiful flowers and delicate twinkle lights creating a romantic atmosphere. There was even a champagne ‘bubble bath’!
In the garden grounds we managed to get some family photos, but for the couple shots we ventured out again a little later and grabbed some hazy sunset photos in the countryside – these are always my favourite photos of the day.
After Cara and Chris had their first dance the couple joined their family and friends to enjoy the music and dancing, which I am sure went on way past that beautiful sunset!

Gosh, I don’t even know where to start with how brilliant 2016 has been for me! So many wonderful clients, many many of whom I’m now proud to call friends, plus I’ve got to shoot in so many incredible and beautiful venues. I’m extremely lucky to have been invited to become one of Clock Barn‘s recommended suppliers this year so I can now officially say that I’m a recommended supplier in ALL of my favourite venues. Wow, how lucky am i?!
Another fabulous year shooting with my best gal and wedding sister Clare and also the lovely Dan, who’s doing so well with his own weddings that he’s flying the nest and is off to focus on his own business in 2017. He shall be deeply missed but I’m so proud of him and everything he’s achieved with me these last few years. I’m excited to be taking on a new assistant for next year though…more of that to follow soon!
Thank you SOOOO much to all of my wonderful clients of 2016 for making this year so brilliant for me, you all make my job what it is. Loves ya!
