I was back at the glorious Clock Barn in Hampshire last week for Izzy & Dan’s beautiful late summer wedding. It was the first time I’ve had a bride get ready in the new Lavender Barn – a lovely space just a stones throw away from the main barn where the bridal party can get ready in a calm and light and airy room, perfect for bridal prep photos.
Izzy & Dan’s wedding was absolutely beautiful in every way imaginable – from the soft, summer pastel florals by the hugely talented Garden Inn to the incredible cake that Dan made himself! I think Izzy is my first bride to have a ponytail in her hair and I LOVE it! She looked totally gorgeous but also super cool… yessss to brides doing things a little uniquely!
These guys literally laughed the whole day which was totally infectious and I have no doubt they both had the best day of their lives. Sooooo much love to you both, here are a few teasers to keep you going!

Last Saturday I was back at my favourite Hampshire barn – the glorious Clock Barn for Becky & Cody’s fabulous wedding. After getting ready in the cottages surrounding Oakley Hall in Basingstoke, Becky & Cody tied the knot at All Hallows Church in Whitchurch in front of their nearest and dearest before exiting through a sea of confetti and on towards Clock Barn.
Clock Barn was absolutely bursting with pretty summer flowers by the very talented Garden Inn florist, and giant ‘Love’ letters lit up the dance floor as guests explored the gorgeous gardens and delicious canapes. Despite the weather promising pouring rain all week we were so lucky with perfect weather and sunshine as we strolled around the grounds taking their couple shots before all going in for a wonderful 4 course meal. They also had a gorgeous wedding cake by the super talented Reilly Cakes… see if you can spot the Harry Potter reference!
Absolutely PERFECT day guys, thank you so much for choosing me to capture it for you. Here are a few teasers to keep you going before the full set is ready! Thank you too to Holly who shot alongside me for part of the day as well.

Jun 24, 2019 | June 2019, Pennyhill Park
Oooh Saturday at Pennyhill Park is Surrey was an absolute corker of a wedding! One of the things I love most about summer weddings is the potential to get married outside at some venues, so I was delighted when Helen & Yorrick told me they hoped to get married in the great outdoors. The Pavilion at Pennyhill Park is just gorgeous, and made even more so when absolutely covered in summer flowers. And what a view!
Helen began the day in fabulously full and multi layered white wedding dress before changing into a shorter red dress which is not only the traditional Vietnamese wedding dress colour but also easier to dance in! Yorrick & Helen spent the afternoon chatting to friends and family and taking photos in the pretty gardens before treating their guests to a 4 course meal and several lovely speeches. After her & Yorrick’s first dance, Helen and her dance troop surprised everyone with a dance routine which had everyone cheering and having the best time. What a fantastic day!
It’s been so lovely to meet you both, thank you so much for having me along (and including me in the delicious dinner!) Wishing you so much love and happiness for the future, here are you highlights below.
I would love to shoot at this beautiful venue again so if anyone reading this is also getting married at Pennyhill Park and would like to get in touch, please do!
Jun 10, 2019 | June 2019, The Domus
It’s been a while since I’ve had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at The Domus in Beaulieu, so I was delighted when Vicki & Simon booked me to capture their day. The Domus is an extremely special and unique wedding venue; an 800 year old Medieval building steeped in tapestries and surrounded in beautiful, original architecture. Vicki & Simon fell in love with it when they saw it, especially as Vicki studied Medieval Studies at University so they knew the venue would be perfect for them!
In an exceptionally cute moment, Vicki & Simon’s absolute poppet of a daughter walked down the aisle holding both her Nanna’s hands, greeting her Dad with a look of total glee. The bridesmaids wore long bluey green dresses with bouquets of soft peaches and greens and with flowers in their hair which looked gorgeous for an early summer wedding.
The weather couldn’t make up it’s mind if it was pouring with rain, intensely sunny, gale force winds or dramatic and cloudy, so we spent most of the afternoon ping ponging back and forth inside and out, reacting to the sky. When they were able, guests wandered around the gorgeous gardens, enjoying a drink or two, before cosying down for dinner back in the Domus, surrounded by candle light. Fabulously funny speeches followed suit, during which we all learned about the hilarious antics of Simon’s stag do (or lack there of), before Vicki & Simon cut into their enormous cake made entirely of CHEESE (a couple after my own heart).
Thank you both for such a wonderful day, you guys made it so much fun. Sending you so much love, here are some highlights <3

May 31, 2019 | May 2019, The Old Vicarage
Lauren & Alex’s wedding at The Old Vicarage in Dorset was one of those weddings where I just wished I’d been a guest! Everything was just so damned cool AND beautiful, which is an unusual and winning combination in my eyes. The bride wore a blue, yes BLUE wedding dress, with delicate pink flowers sewn in and possibly the sparkliest pair of heals I’ve ever seen.
Lauren and her gals got ready at The Kings Arms Hotel in Christchurch before arriving in style to The Old Vicarage in some cool vintage cars, generously loaned by some friends. Although it rained most of the day, this gorgeous pair didn’t let it dampen their spirits, even when it meant they couldn’t get married outside like they’d hoped. The best thing about The Old Vicarage is that, even if you are unlucky with the weather, the ceremony room with it’s huge stag head it just as wonderful as the great outdoors, so nothing was really lost. And with Willow & Wisps‘ glorious fauna, it looked as if the outside was inside anyway.
After the ceremony the rain suddenly stopped so we ran outside like crazy people to take some couples shots and the family photos, enjoying the lush and colourful gardens. A delicious BBQ and speeches followed, before the evening party kicked off with a hilarious dancing game, which made for some absolutely awesome photos!
Thank you so much lovelies, I had a blast!! Thank you for having Holly and I along – some of these photos are hers.
