Wedding at Clock Barn – Emily & Chris

Clock BarnI’m so lucky that this year I’ve been given the opportunity to photograph so many gorgeous weddings at one of my favourite venues; the wonderful Clock Barn in Whitchurch. It’s always so lovely to go back and see the team, who really are, incredible at what they do.

An absolutely beautiful wedding by Emily & Chris and a day completely back full of laughter and friendships. Thank you for having Julie and I along you gorgeous pair!

Parley Manor Wedding – Georgia & Mike

Parley ManorGosh, what a BEAUTIFUL wedding I have for you here at Parley Manor in Dorset! Everything about Georgia & Mike’s wedding was simply gorgeous – gorgeous florals, gorgeous decor, gorgeous people.

Parley Manor is a really special wedding venue as you can get married in the gardens under a marquee, so it’s very close to feeling like you’re getting married outside without the fear of the British weather forecast. In fact we did have a few drops of rain just as Georgia walked towards Mike arm in arm with her Dad, but I doubt anyone noticed as everyone was too busy watching this lovely pair tie the knot.

After the ceremony we wandered around the beautiful gardens and secret little nooks and crannies taking couple photos whilst guests enjoyed drinks on the lawns. When guests went in for dinner they were treated with little gifts at the table – a funny nod to Mike’s pilot job with toy aeroplanes for the fellas to play with.

Everything about Georgia & Mike’s wedding was just so elegant and pretty – I absolutely LOVE their plant put table plan! An absolutely gorgeous day in every way, thank you so much for welcoming Holly and I along.

Clock Barn Wedding Photography – Laura & Mark

Clock Barn wedding photographyAhh my beloved Clock Barn! I’m so lucky that I get to shoot here so often – in fact I’m beginning to feel like I live here at the mo! They may as well allocate me a table to sleep under and fill me up with their mind blowing scotch eggs. So I was super happy as always when Laura & Mark booked me for their beautiful spring wedding.

One of the things I love the most about Clock Barn is that the gardens and surroundings change so quickly with the seasons and the weather, so Laura & Mark were blessed with a fabulous white flower tree in full bloom right outside the barn (I don’t pretend to know what type it is!) and hot pink flowers all up the edges. At other points in the year we’ll have a cornfield or in the autumn the trees will go a gorgeous hot red. I think this is why this place is so special and exciting to shoot at.

Laura & Mark chose soft, pretty pink flowers for their decor, with touches of gold and copper for a bit of sparkle. I love the burnt copper ribbons on the bouquets which looked awesome next to the mint green of the bridesmaids dresses.

An absolutely beautiful day with an even more beautiful couple – thank you for making Holly and I feel so welcome (some of these photos are hers).

Upwaltham Barns Wedding – Kirsty & Lucas

Upwaltham Barns

Ahh, the beautiful beautiful Upwaltham Barns in West Sussex is always an absolute pleasure to photograph! Although my heart is in Hampshire there are so many lovely venues around the country it’s a pleasure to be able to venture further a field especially to a venue like Upwaltham Barn. It’s such a gorgeous barn to visit for a wedding, but it was so much more perfect when the flowers are in bloom like thy were for Kirsty and Lucas’ day this June – my photography heaven!

The rooms at Upwaltham Barn are so special and there were many memories to be made while the bridal party were getting ready. Check out the little pom poms on the flower girls shoes and the gorgeous little flower crown! Adorable! Kirsty had a stunning gown with beautiful beaded detailing and the bridesmaids wore beautiful salmon coloured floor length gowns – they were almost the colour of some of the peonies in the beautiful flower arrangements and gardens!

The ceremony room has wonderful natural light and was decorated simply and beautifully. Ready for the bride and groom to steal the show! The couple chose to use a surf board as a table plan and as a topper for their cake, such a cute way to bring their own personalities in to the day.

Kirsty and Lucas planned such a perfect day from start to finish, and celebrated with such a wonderful group of friends and family who made me feel so welcome. It was lovely to watch them celebrate all together and I left as they started to dance the night away on a glorious summers eve.

Congratulations guys, nailed it!

Thank you to Vicki who helped me for a bit today too, some of these photos are hers.

Esseborne Manor – Jane & Adam

Esseborne_Manor_001Jane & Adam’s wedding was my first ever at Esseborne Manor, and I certainly hope it’ll be first of many! I don’t think I’ve ever shot a wedding before which felt so much like ‘home’ – it’s a smallish venue with a beautiful garden, and because of it’s size it felt like a wedding in a holiday retreat, plus I loved that fact that so many guests could stay over, giving the whole day a real holiday vibe.

Jane & Adam hand made all of their funky signs and completely covered the place in flowers so the whole venue looked beautiful, and totally suited their laid back English tea style wedding breakfast.

I also got to work with one of my favourite make-up artists, Frances – check out Jane’s glittery eyes! She looked absolutely amazing.

A big thank you too to Clare for second shooting for me, some of these photos are her’s.
