Southwick D-Day Memorial Hall – Sarah & Luke
Southwick D-Day Memorial Hall.
Village halls make for fantastic wedding reception venues, because you can absolutely put your own stamp on everything; it’s a total blank canvas which you can decorate any way you see fit with very few restrictions and you can have your pick of caterers. Sarah & Luke picked a gorgeous village hall – Southwick D-Day Memorial Hall in Fareham which not only had a decent size space inside but also a large garden out the front which was connected to a play park (much to the delight of the children there!)
They began their wedding at St Mary’s Church in Gosport, just a stones throw away from Sarah’s family home where she got ready with the special women in her life. After arriving at the Church in a super cute camper van, she met a very happy Luke at the alter and they were soon married in front of their nearest and dearest.
It was another gloriously hot Saturday, so everyone enjoyed the sunshine outside before going in for dinner and speeches. The inside of the hall looked incredible – Sarah had beautifully styled the tables with rose gold and navy blue decor and ceiling twinkled with hundreds of fairy lights.
We were gifted with the most glorious golden hour I think I’ve had this whole year, so we raced out to a nearly cornfield and flower meadow to make the most of the gorgeous light. Well done guys on pulling off a totally fabulous day! Thank you for having Holly and I along <3
