Sophie & Tom’s beautiful wedding at The Old Vicarage! I absolutely adore this venue, especially since couples have been able to get married outside in the garden, and I am extremely lucky to be one of their recommended photographers. One … Continue reading
O my – I don’t even know where to begin with how brilliant 2017 was for me; so many wonderful clients, many whom I’m lucky enough to now call friends. So many beautiful venues, many of which I’m lucky enough to now be recommended at, and barely any rain! Hallelujah!
Thank you so much to Clare who shot along side me most of the year, I’ll miss you more than you’ll know. Dan & Leoni too, thank you for making this year so much fun to go to work.
Thank you to my photography Sync girls, who make every day better and like chatting at the water cooler a virtual reality.
But mainly thank you to my clients, who have trusted me with one of the best days’ of their lives, I’ll never stop being humbled by this.
2018…let’s do this!!
Here are a few of my favourites from throughout the year <3
O how I love The Old Vicarage in Christchurch – it’s the most beautiful, homely and versatile wedding venue with a wonderful outside space for a wedding ceremony right amongst the flowers. I love that with this venue, if you do find yourself with a rainy day, the inside is just as gorgeous and light and airy, so – unlike some wedding venues – it’s really not the end of the world if it rains and you have to be inside. Luckily we didn’t have to worry about that with Natalie & Adam’s wedding this September as we were blessed with glorious sunshine all day!
I was delighted when Natalie & Adam asked me to capture their special day; I knew straight away they would be such a lovely couple to photograph, plus they have a gorgeous little baba George, who always gives me the best smiles 🙂 George arrived in absolute style in an awesome cart which was rolled down the aisle – personalised number plate to boot! What a dude.
Natalie & Adam’s wedding was beautifully colourful, with splashes of rainbow inspired flowers all over the place, which complimented the bridesmaids floral and bird dresses perfectly. Everything about this day was just so fun and joyful, we loved every minute and laughed along with the happy couple all day.
Thank you for having Leoni and I along, we had a blast.
I’ve recently been lucky enough to become a recommended supplier at The Old Vicarage, so if you’d like to chat to me about photographing your wedding day, please contact me here.
Ahhhh Harriet & Car’s wedding this August at Coppleridge Inn in Dorset was so amazing I don’t know where to start! So many wonderful things happened and there were so many beautiful things to look at… ooh it was a treat!
Harriet, her maids and Mum got ready at The Lamb pub in Dorset, just round the corner from The Coppleridge Inn whilst the boys finished off the venue and got ready too. The venue is really unique – the ceremony can be held outside in the woods at the end of a winding path and under a bandstand-esque structure, whilst the reception is held in a marquee on the courtyard of the pub. The court yard actually has a pond in the middle of it which becomes encased inside the marquee, something I’ve never seen before but loved!
As the sun was shining and it was a super hot day, the ceremony was outside in the woods which I was so happy about as I know this was what Harriet & Carl were hoping for. They were showered with an absolute storm of confetti as they exited the woods and made their way towards to gardens of the pub…just as they were met by two absolutely gorgeous and very friendly alpacas! Because Harriet is a fan of these beautiful animals, Carl had arranged for them to visit as a surprise, so Harriet and all the guests got to have a little cuddle with them before enjoying the canapés and drinks out on the lawn.
Once it was time for speeches we all went inside the marquee which was fabulously decorated with brightly coloured flowers and balloons, before we snuck off for some couple shots in the most incredible evening sunlight I’ve seen in a long time. We were so lucky with that golden sunset!
Thank you so much for choosing me guys, we loved every minute!
Thank you to Clare as always who second shot, some of these photos are hers.

Keshia and Ash chose the fabulous Sopley Mill in Dorset, which is another one of those wow venues we are lucky to have local to us. The newly renovated watermill has a great atmosphere and the grounds are along the bank of the Avon River, such a lovely and quirky countryside venue!
To start the day off Keshia got ready with her closest friends and family at the Harbour Hotel in Christchurch. Isn’t the detailing on her dress so lovely? The long train and the antique colour lace were so romantic, and complemented the bridesmaids soft pink dresses wonderfully.
The blue skies over Sopley Mill welcomed the guests and entertained the groomsmen (in very smart blue suits) while waiting for the bride’s arrival. Everyone was in such good spirits for the day. The ceremony was lovely, the little page boy and bridesmaid were totally adorable!
The sun was out for the couple and family shots as we walked around the gorgeous grounds, finding some quiet spots near the river and out in the meadow, making the most of the warm sunlight!
The reception room was dressed beautifully with bunting, flowers and little honey jars for the guests. Keshia and Ash enlisted family and friends in a Great British Bake off competition for the cakes, and there was a wonderful display of talents there from the family and friends! Good job guys!
As we were winding down for the day the guests were all winding up on the dance floor, I reckon they had a blast!
Thanks Keshia and Ash for having me join in on your happy wedding day xx
Here are a few of my favourite photos from their fabulous day – thank you to Leoni who assisted me; some of these photos are hers.
