Steven & Katie’s Wedding at Farbridge, Chichester
What a fantastic day we had celebrating Steven and Katie’s wedding at the gorgeous Farbridge in Chichester! The whole day was filled with happiness, laughter, and lots of fun, and it was such a privilege to be there to capture every moment. Farbridge is one of those venues that never fails to impress— surrounded by stunning countryside and offering the perfect mix of rustic charm and elegance. It was the ideal setting for Steven and Katie’s relaxed yet stylish wedding day, and exactly what they had told me they wanted.
The day kicked off with plenty of excitement as Katie and her bridesmaids were getting ready in one of the barn’s beautiful rooms. Katie looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress, and there were even a few happy tears as she met her Dad in the garden for an emotional dress reveal. Katie & Steven even decided to have a cheeky lettle hand hold around the corener pre ceremony, to help steady those nerves to to reassure eachother that today is going to be the best day ever!
The ceremony was held in the ceremony barn, which looked incredible with its wooden beams, soft lighting and hexican floral arch. Katie walked down the aisle, beaming with happiness, and the moment she and Steven locked eyes was one of those lovely, quiet seconds that says it all. The vows were personal and genuine, and you could feel the connection between them as they made their promises to each other. It was a perfect, simple ceremony—everything that a wedding should be.
After the ceremony, we moved outside to enjoy the drinks reception. The sun was shining, and everyone was in great spirits. It was the perfect time to capture some relaxed moments of Steven and Katie with their guests. From the laughter to the cheers, the whole reception felt easy and full of happiness. Everyone was clearly there to enjoy themselves and celebrate the couple. There was plenty of mingling and chatting, and I loved getting candid shots of everyone having a great time. It’s always nice when you can capture the real, unscripted moments of the day.
The reception was everything you’d want – fun, relaxed, and full of life. The evening kicked off with some fantastic speeches that had everyone laughing, followed by a delicious meal. Afterward, the dance floor was open, and it didn’t take long for everyone to join in. Steven and Katie shared their first dance as a married couple, and after that, it was all about dancing, and partying haaaaard! We even got the most incredible evening golden hour, which of course meant more photos and a champers pop!
