Ashley Wood Farm Wedding Photography – JP & Becky

Ah, everything about Becky & JP’s wedding at Ashley Wood Farm in Salisbury is sooooo flippin’ beautiful I almost can’t bare it! Firstly, just check out THAT DRESS! I’ve never seen anything like it, and wow, could Becky pull it off!

Becky and her lovely Mum and sisters prepared for the day ahead at their family home in Salisbury as JP and his boys got ready at a local pub called Beckford Arms. The wedding took place at St Mary’s Church in Salisbury in front of friends and family, before the newly weds jumped in a beautifully decorated Land Rover and made their way to their reception at Ashley Wood Farm. JP is a long time lover and owner of Land Rovers, so it was only fitting that his favourite car made a proud appearance on the day.

Ashley Wood Farm was such a pretty open space for a wedding with its pale blue barn doors and live chickens running around, and made the perfect setting for a party. Guests enjoyed artfully created canapes by Red Herring whilst we took photos (making sure to include the Land Rovers, of course!) before going into the barn to enjoy their meal. Becky & JP decorated the inside of the barn with a bird theme with hand painted pictures and even home made sloe gin.

Heart felt and hilarious speeches were said in the adjoining tipi before the evening entertainment was kicked off by the awesome Hipster band back in the barn. When Clare and I left, pretty much EVERYONE was on the dance floor, always a good sign of a brilliant party!

Thank you both so much for having us there, we had an absolute blast xx

A big thank you too to Clare West for second shooting on the day, some of these photos are hers x

Beach Wedding Photography – Gavin & Nicky

2014-11-03_0044All weddings are beautiful but Nicky & Gavin’s beach wedding at Camber Sands in Rye, East Sussex was just magical. Beautiful and magical. On the run up to the wedding I had my fingers tightly crossed for sunshine because I knew Nicky and Gavin had their hearts set on an outdoors wedding in the sandbanks by the shore and luckily the got the warm and sunny day they wanted.

Everyone got ready at The Gallivant Hotel just opposite the beach where the reception would later also be held. Nicky’s bridesmaids all got dressed in their tropical red dresses which matched the amazing Hawaiian looking flowers perfectly, by Cafe Des Fleurs whilst the boys carried over the wooden arbor which would later be the setting for their vows. Once everyone was ready, Nicky, her Dad and maids walked up over the sandbanks to their waiting friends and family and a happy Gav, to say their heartfelt vows to each other.

After the ceremony, the party quickly began with a Caribbean style steel band called One Island who got everyone up on their feet and dancing to the rhythm. Whilst everyone was having ice cold beers and snacks we took the opportunity to take some family photos as well as having a paddle in the sea for their couple shots.

When it was time for dinner everyone walked across the road to The Gallivant Hotel where they had their meal, before speeches ensued and the party began. What a perfect day!

Thank you so much for welcoming Clare and I, we had so much fun with you guys. A big thank you too to Clare West who second shot for me, some of these photos are her’s xx

Old Thorns Manor Hotel in Hampshire – Simon & Robyn

So many gorgeous things happened at Robyn & Simon’s wedding at Old Thorns Manor in Hampshire, it’s hard to know where to begin! I knew that Robyn and I shared a similar taste in dresses when she told me that her maids would be in green floral British Retro dresses and that she’d seen on my Facebook that I owned the same dress! Robyn’s own dress was also my favourite style of wedding dress – I absolutely love 50’s calf length dresses, they’re super cute and seriously fun to dance in, what with all the spinning they inspire!

Robyn and Simon both got ready at Old Thorns Manor but in separate areas so as not to bump into each other, before tying the knot in front of their nearest and dearest. Once the official bit was done, everyone went outside into the autumn sunshine to sip champagne and for the family photos on the patio. Before dinner, Robyn and Simon and I went off in the golf buggies to a secluded spot up on the golf course to get some romantic couple shots and wow, what a view!

After dinner, guests mingled and chatted before the DJ started and the party really began. Such a wonderful day, thank you so much for having me along to share it with you. A big thank you to Bev Downie who second shot for me on the day too xx

Careys Manor Wedding Photography – Richard & Lyndsey

The New Forest is one of my favourite places in the whole of the South of England to hold a wedding and Lyndsey & Rich did not disappoint with this beauty of a wedding at Careys Manor. When I first met Lyndsey & Rich they told me how hopeful they were to be able to hold the ceremony outside, and so I had everything crossed that the sun would shine for them… and thankfully it did.

Lyndsey, her Mum and sister got ready at Careys Manor, Hampshire this warm September morning whilst Rich and his best man greeted the arriving guests. Their two sons Ethan & Oliver looked absolutely gorgeous in their little outfits with their boat shoes and dicky bows, quite possibly two of the cutest little ones I’ve ever seen.

Lyndsey& Rich said their vows outside in the sunshine just like they wanted, and then walked back down the aisle to handfuls of confetti and cheers from friends and family. During canapes and the drinks reception, we made the most of the beautiful gardens and took family photos, before everyone want inside for their dinner and speeches. Just before the first dance and the evening party we were lucky enough to get an incredible golden sunset, which we made the most of and caught some lovely warm golden couple shots.

Thank you so much for having me there to capture your day and to meet your lovely families xx
