Southwick D-Day Memorial Hall – Sarah & Luke

Southwick D-Day Memorial Hall – Sarah & Luke

Southwick D-Day Memorial Hall

Southwick D-Day Memorial Hall.

Village halls make for fantastic wedding reception venues, because you can absolutely put your own stamp on everything; it’s a total blank canvas which you can decorate any way you see fit with very few restrictions and you can have your pick of caterers. Sarah & Luke picked a gorgeous village hall – Southwick D-Day Memorial Hall in Fareham which not only had a decent size space inside but also a large garden out the front which was connected to a play park (much to the delight of the children there!)

They began their wedding at St Mary’s Church in Gosport, just a stones throw away from Sarah’s family home where she got ready with the special women in her life. After arriving at the Church in a super cute camper van, she met a very happy Luke at the alter and they were soon married in front of their nearest and dearest.

It was another gloriously hot Saturday, so everyone enjoyed the sunshine outside before going in for dinner and speeches. The inside of the hall looked incredible – Sarah had beautifully styled the tables with rose gold and navy blue decor and ceiling twinkled with hundreds of fairy lights.

We were gifted with the most glorious golden hour I think I’ve had this whole year, so we raced out to a nearly cornfield and flower meadow to make the most of the gorgeous light. Well done guys on pulling off a totally fabulous day! Thank you for having Holly and I along <3

Barn Wedding in Hampshire – Francesca & Tom

Barn Wedding in Hampshire – Francesca & Tom

Barn wedding in Hampshire

O my, where to even begin with how gorgeous Francesca & Tom’s country barn wedding was this weekend! Clock Barn in Hampshire is a barn I never tire of photographing…and good job too as I seem to be there every weekend at the moment! It has everything you could ever want for a country wedding – a big beautiful barn, gorgeous gardens and food that’s just out of this world.

Francesca & Tom hired an absolute dream team of suppliers so I was really excited to work with Eden Blooms again to see what they would come up with, and as usual they didn’t disappoint! Francesca’s bouquet was a mix of pinks and foliage, lightly hand-tied to give it the ‘I just picked these from the garden this morning’ look. It was also wonderful to see my friends from Vinnie’s Vehicles again as they brought Francesca and her bridesmaids and parents to the barn in style in their vintage VW camper van. Although it was a little on the windy side, guests enjoyed an afternoon of canapes and fizz in the gardens before moving inside for an evening or music and dancing.

An absolutely gorgeous day from start to finish, thank you so much for having Emma and I along! Congratulations lovelies, you totally smashed it!
