{Hampshire Wedding Photographer} A few favourites from a wonderful 2017!

O my – I don’t even know where to begin with how brilliant 2017 was for me; so many wonderful clients, many whom I’m lucky enough to now call friends. So many beautiful venues, many of which I’m lucky enough to now be recommended at, and barely any rain! Hallelujah!

Thank you so much to Clare who shot along side me most of the year, I’ll miss you more than you’ll know. Dan & Leoni too, thank you for making this year so much fun to go to work.

Thank you to my photography Sync girls, who make every day better and like chatting at the water cooler a virtual reality.

But mainly thank you to my clients, who have trusted me with one of the best days’ of their lives, I’ll never stop being humbled by this.

2018…let’s do this!!

Here are a few of my favourites from throughout the year <3

Farnham Castle Wedding – Kay & Jonny

Farnham Castle weddingO My! Farnham Castle in Surrey makes for THE MOST cosy, twinkly and utterly gorgeous venue for a winter wedding! I just adored Kay & Jonny’s wedding – with it’s little festive touches like Christmas pressies, Christmas tree and lights, not to mention their first dance to All I Want for Christmas is You!

Wonderfully, they lead their guests in a rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas; each table singing a different verse. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much at a wedding before!

Thank you so much for having us along, we had a blast! Thank you to my fav girl Ange for second shooting this one, some of these photos are hers.

Rhinefield House Winter Wedding – Tash & Anthony

Rhinefield House winter weddingOf all the places to have a winter wedding, Rhinefield House in The New Forest has to be one of the most beautiful! With it’s cosy, dark paneled wooden interior, and huge, decorated Christmas trees, it has such a warm and wintery feel to it – just perfect for Tash & Anthony’s day.

I’ve had the honour of photographing the weddings of all 3 of these gorgeous sisters, so I was delighted when Tash asked if I could photograph her wedding too, and was even more delighted when she said they’d booked the wonderful Rhinefield House. We were so lucky with the weather as it was cold but bright and dry, so we were able to take advantage of the huge gardens, which are gorgeous no matter the time of year.

Thank you to your and your lovely families for welcoming me in once again, it’s been so¬†wonderful to see you all again over the years <3

Ashley Wood Farm Wedding – Emily & Jim

Ashley Wood FarmVenues I regularly shoot at can sometimes feel a little bit like my babies, so I know you’re not supposed to have favourites…but I kinda do a little bit with Ashley Wood Farm! This venue is O so flippin’ gorgeous, with it’s duck egg blue barn doors and sand coloured walls, plus I LOVE the fact you can opt to get married outside in the garden if you choose to. Not only that but it has the loveliest little cottage on site to get ready in in the morning and to stay in the night of the wedding… so I may even be so daring to say it’s pretty much PERFECT.

So when Emily & Jim asked me to be the photographer for their September wedding at Ashley Wood Farm, you can imagine I was delighted! Everything about their wedding was absolutely-knock your socks off-gorgeous, and the barn was styled impeccably. All the tables were given brightly coloured flowers in cute jars, with gold and hessian touches and multi-coloured ribbons hanging from the ceiling. They even had botanical information cards up-cycled as bunting, O my!

After a week of threatened rain, we were lucky and Emily and Jim were able to wed outside in the garden exactly as they had wanted to. Afterwards, they were met with a shower of confetti instead of rain, before guests mingled, chatted and enjoyed the canapes.

Before the meal we wondered around the grounds capturing their couple shots, before the evening party kicked off with an awesome Ceilidh band which got almost everyone up on their feet.

I LOVED this wedding, thank you so much for having Dan and I along; some of these photos are his <3

If you’re getting married at Ashley Wood farm and would like to chat to me about photographing your wedding there, feel free to email me here.

Winter Wedding at St John’s Place – Carleh & Vinnie

winter weddingahh what a BEAUTIFUL winter wedding Carleh & Vinnie had in Salisbury this December! I’m always delighted when someone books me to shoot at a venue I’ve not visited before, so when Carleh & Vinnie told me about The Medieval Hall and an old converted church called St John’s Place, you could say I was rather excited.¬†Both venues are seeped in history and personality, and absolutely perfect for a cosy, winter wedding with twinkly fairy lights and candles.

The Medieval Hall is right next to Salisbury Cathedral, so after the ceremony we popped outside to wander round the grounds taking some couple photos. All the guests headed off to St John’s Place where they waited for us to arrive with confetti ready and poised, before everyone tucked in to a hearty meal of pie and mash – best wedding food ever!

What a gorgeous winter wedding, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your fabulous day. Thank you too to Clare who second shot for me, some of these photos are hers.
