If you’re looking at my website then chances are you’ve just become engaged and are looking for a wedding photographer… and this is where I’m hoping I can help.
My name’s Mia Hooper (formally Kenward) and I love being a wedding photographer. I feel so lucky and privileged to be able to capture the most wonderful and exciting day of so many people's lives, I couldn’t wish for a better job.
I have been doing this for a number of years now and have settled down in Southampton after completing my degree in editorial photography at Brighton University. I started off like most wedding photographers; just photographing a few friends' weddings for fun but quickly thought to myself "wouldn't it be wonderful if I could make a career out of this..." and so it began! I haven't looked back and I plan to carry on for many years to come.

The style I use for my wedding photography begins with a journalistic and documentary style approach to capture the day as it unfolds. I will then employ a more traditional style when shooting the formal family shots and then really get creative with the special personal shots of the two of you. I make it my mission during a wedding to help my couples to relax, enjoy it and have fun, as this produces the most fabulous and creative shots.
